Alice in Wonderland
Halloween is a huge deal at work and in recent years it has gotten bigger than ever with our departmental "best group costume" contest. The contest has grown into more of a competition where some groups have even included a performance along with their costumes and cubicle decor.
This year Alice in Wonderland was my departments theme. Complete with Alice, the White Rabbit, Cheshire Cat, Mad Hatter, Caterpillar, Queen of Hearts, Ace of Spades guard, Ace of Clubs guard and an unbirthday tea party spread.

Happy Halloween
Ben and I went to a Halloween party that one of our friends through this weekend. We are supposed to be Rat Rod Riders. Too bad the charger isn't up and running, it would have been a helpful prop.

Just Silly
Last Sunday night Ben's cell phone freaked out and started dialing by itself. The only way we could get it to stop was to take the battery out. Monday Ben was super frustrated because he had no way to call me so that night between work and class he went to the t-mobile store to see what deal they could give him on a new phone.
I had no idea any of this was happening and so I was a little surprised when I got a message that said "go talk to Andy at the t-mobile store by the Olive Garden"....this was all the message said....needless to say I was a little confused and I had no way to get a hold of Ben because he was in class.
I also had no idea what t-mobile location was by the Olive Garden. Google wasn't much help either and so I spent about 20 minutes searching all of the surrounding t-mobile locations and cross referencing them with any Olive Garden location. I finally found it and sure enough "Andy" was there so he was able to fill me in on the details of what Ben was up to. And now Ben and I are upgraded for another 2 years.
